Author Raj Tawney will talk about his brand new book, All Mixed Up, which is appropriate for readers in grades 5 and up. This book deals with friendship, school, and learning to accept others as they are.

ALL MIXED UP  has already received positive reviews in Publishers Weekly and Foreword Reviews.  Raj Tawney is a born-and-raised New Yorker and proud multiracial American (1/2 Indian, 1/4 Italian, 1/4 Puerto Rican descent). His writing reflects his curiosity for this world, exploring a range of ideas and issues, including race, identity, family, culture, food, nature, and history.

Participants will also get to do an inclusive activity around celebrating our varied heritages.
