THIS WEEK:  Christmas in Connecticut (1945)

A  food writer named Elizabeth Lane writes about her fictitious Conneticut farm and family that many of her readers enjoy. When her publisher Alexander Yardley who is unaware that Elizabeth has been lying about her life asks her to host a dinner for her boss and also for a returning war hero named Jefferson Jones who has read all of her articles in the hospital. Elizabeth must find a way to cover her deception by hosting a Christmas gathering.
