Local film maker Dan Tremblay returns with his monthly Heritage Film series.   Topics range from maritime stories to Colonial history to human interest subjects!

This month: Schooner Effie Morrissey, Gloucester
 The story of one of Gloucester's famed fishing schooners and its Captain, Bill Bartlett, 1930s.

After serving in the military and retiring as a state health officer, Dan Tremblay launched his film organization, Heritage Films, to document local stories. He won an achievement award from the Cape Ann History Society for his documentary Gloucestermen which chronicles the history of fishermen off the coast of Cape Ann and features authentic archival footage.
